One of the more interesting features on the new Urban Decision Group site is the Map of the Week, or #mapoftheweek for all you Twitter users out there.  The inaugural Map of the Week deals with Average Commuting Times in the U.S.  The data is from the 2006-2010 American Community Survey.  It is the first of several maps and blogs that deal with the subject of inefficiencies in our everyday lives.  Urban Decision Group (UDG) staffers are on a mission to quantify the amount of waste and lost productivity as a result of  these inefficiencies.
